I began woodworking at a boatyard in Friendship, Maine in the fall of 1979. My training continued for five more years at Thos. Moser Cabinetmakers, then of New Gloucester, Maine. Since January of 1987 I have been on my own, making all manner of furniture for homes and offices. For the past 11 years my shop has bee located on the Connecticut River in Wilder, Vermont, a four mile drive from Hanover, N.H. and within two miles of the intersection of interstates 89 and 91. More than half my business is custom work, designing and or pricing and building pieces to satisfy a customer's particular needs and desires.
